Alexandra Bracken is an American author known for her YA fantasy novels, including the Darkest Minds and Passenger series. She has also contributed to the Star Wars franchise with a novelization of Episode IV: A New Hope. Bracken graduated magna cum laude from The College of William and Mary with degrees in History and English. She currently resides in New York City and works in the publishing industry.
