Anthony Doerr, an American novelist, won the Pulitzer Prize in 2015 for his novel "All the Light We Cannot See." He holds an MFA from Bowling Green State University and a history degree from Bowdoin College. Doerr resides in Boise, Idaho, with his wife and twin sons.

Anthony Doerr's "About Grace" follows David Winkler, a man from Anchorage, Alaska, who has premonitions. Haunted by a dream that his daughter will drown, David abandons his family and flees to a Caribbean island. Struggling with guilt and isolation, he is taken in by a local couple and their daughter. It is through this new relationship that David finds the strength to reconnect with his past and search for his lost family.
