Cecelia Ahern is an Irish author known for her romantic and women's fiction. She holds a journalism degree from Griffith College Dublin. Several of her novels have been adapted into films, and she co-created the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? starring Christina Applegate.

Cecelia Ahern's "Where Rainbows End," also known as "Rosie Dunne" and "Love, Rosie," follows the lifelong friendship and evolving relationship between Rosie and Alex. In "If You Could See Me Now," originally titled "A Silver Lining," Elizabeth's life is transformed by her encounters with an imaginary friend. "A Place Called Here," republished as "There's No Place Like Here," explores Sandy Shortt's journey to find missing people and ultimately herself. Ahern also contributed to the anthology "Irish Girls Are Back In Town," alongside other notable Irish authors. Each work delves into themes of love, friendship, and self-discovery.
