David Eddings (1931-2009) was an American author renowned for his epic fantasy novels. His major works include the interconnected series The Belgariad and The Malloreon, as well as The Elenium and The Tamuli. Eddings also co-authored The Dreamers series with his wife, Leigh Eddings.
