In "The Queen of the Tearling," set in a future reminiscent of medieval times, 19-year-old Kelsea Glynn ascends to the throne with intelligence but no practical experience. She confronts numerous challenges as she strives to improve the lives of her people. The sequel, "The Invasion of the Tearling," continues her journey and is scheduled for release in June 2015.
