In "Zombie Tag" by Hannah Moskowitz, 13-year-old Wil Lowenstein struggles with his brother's death by immersing himself in a game called Zombie Tag. This game blends elements of mafia and capture the flag, where players fend off zombies using household items. Desperate to reconnect with his deceased brother, Wil discovers a method to summon the dead within a five-mile radius. His wish is granted, but he is confronted with the harsh reality that his revived brother is emotionless and distant. This standalone children's novel explores themes of loss and the unintended consequences of bringing the dead back to life.
