In Ian Fleming's 1955 novel "Moonraker," James Bond is tasked by M to investigate Sir Hugo Drax, the head of Britain's new ICBM-based national defense system, the Moonraker project. Bond uncovers that both Drax and the project are not what they seem. The novel was adapted into a film in 1979, with Roger Moore portraying Bond. The film also marked the second appearance of Richard Kiel as the character Jaws.
