6 Series

Ian Fleming, a British author, created the iconic fictional spy James Bond. From 1953 until his death in 1964, he wrote 12 novels and 9 short stories featuring the character. The James Bond series inspired one of the most successful film franchises, beginning with "Dr. No" in 1962.

In Ian Fleming's 1955 novel "Moonraker," James Bond is tasked by M to investigate Sir Hugo Drax, the head of Britain's new ICBM-based national defense system, the Moonraker project. Bond uncovers that both Drax and the project are not what they seem. The novel was adapted into a film in 1979, with Roger Moore portraying Bond. The film also marked the second appearance of Richard Kiel as the character Jaws.
