
Irving Wallace
2 SeriesIrving Wallace (1916-1990) was an American author and screenwriter known for his early success in selling stories to magazines and his work as a Hollywood screenwriter on films such as "The West Point Story" and "Split Second." After transitioning to a full-time author, he continued to achieve notable success. Wallace also served in World War II alongside Theodor Seuss Geisel. He is the father of Olympic historian David Wallechinsky and author Amy Wallace.
Irving Wallace collaborated with David Wallechinsky on "The Book of Lists," "The People's Almanac," and "The People's Almanac No. 2." Alongside Amy Wallace, he co-authored "The Two." "The Intimate Sex Lives of Famous People" was a joint effort with Amy Wallace, Sylvia Wallace, and David Wallechinsky. He worked with Sylvia Wallace and David Wallechinsky on "The Book of Lists, Vol. 2." Lastly, "Significa" was written with Amy Wallace and David Wallechinsky.
