Ismée Amiel Williams is an author of YA contemporary novels and a practicing pediatric cardiologist at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. She previously trained and worked at Columbia University Medical Center for 15 years. Inspired to write after reading a YA novel during her pregnancy, Ismée incorporates her Cuban heritage and Spanish phrases into her work. She resides in New York City with her family.
