Joan D. Vinge

Joan D. Vinge is an American author known for her science fiction and fantasy series, including the Snow Queen Cycle, the Cat series, and the Heaven's Chronicle series. She holds a B.A. in anthropology from San Diego State University and has taught at the Clarion Workshop. Vinge resides in Green Valley, Arizona, with her husband, science fiction editor James Frenkel.
