Kristi Charish is a Canadian author known for her urban fantasy series, the Owl series, which features strong, savvy heroines and numerous pop culture references. She holds a BSc and MSc in Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University, and a PhD in Zoology from the University of British Columbia, specializing in genetics, cell biology, and molecular biology, which she incorporates into her writing. Charish also co-hosts the Adventures in Sci-Fi Publishing Podcast.
