Mary E. Pearson is an American author known for her YA fantasy novels, including the Jenna Fox Chronicles and the Remnant Chronicles series. She holds a BFA in art from Long Beach State University and later became a teacher after attending San Diego State University. Encouraged by her second-grade students, Pearson returned to her first love of writing and now writes full-time in San Diego.
