
Robert Asprin
15 SeriesRobert Asprin (1946-2008) was an American author known for his science fiction and fantasy works, including the Myth Adventures and Phule’s Company series. He created the Thieves’ World series and frequently collaborated with Lynn Abbey, Jody Lynn Nye, and others. Asprin passed away from a heart attack in 2008.
Robert Asprin co-authored several series and novels with various collaborators. The Duncan and Mallory graphic novels were created with Mel White, while the Phule's Company series, starting with "A Phule and His Money," was co-authored with Peter J. Heck. The Time Scout series and "For King and Country" were co-authored with Linda Evans. The Myth Adventures novels, beginning in 2003, along with "Dragons Deal" and "License Invoked," were co-authored with Jody Lynn Nye, who continued the series solo after 2008 based on Asprin's work. The Griffen McCandles series and "Dragons Run" were also collaborations with Nye. Other notable co-authored works include the Wartorn books with Eric Del Carlo, "E. Godz" with Esther Friesner, and "No Quarter" with Del Carlo and Teresa Patterson.
