Robert Barnard

Robert Barnard (1937-2013) was an English author known for his crime fiction, including the Charlie Peace and Perry Trethowan series. He received the Cartier Diamond Dagger award from the Crime Writers Association in 2003 for his lifetime achievements. Barnard was educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School and Balliol College.
