1 Series

Soren Sveistrup is a screenwriter and author, best known for creating the Danish television series "The Killing," which was later adapted in the United States. He is also the author of "The Chestnut Man," his first book published in English.

In Soren Sveistrup's "The Chestnut Man," a psychopath terrorizes Copenhagen, leaving handmade dolls made of matchsticks and chestnuts at each crime scene. A crucial lead emerges when forensics discovers a fingerprint on a doll, belonging to a government minister's daughter, kidnapped and murdered a year prior. As the killer continues his spree, two detectives race against time to unravel the mystery. The dolls provide the only clues to the madman's twisted mission, which is far from over. Tensions mount as the detectives work to stop the killer before he strikes again.
