
Stephen Baxter
28 SeriesStephen Baxter is a British author known for his hard science fiction and alternate history novels, including the Xeelee Sequence, Destiny’s Children, and the Long Earth series co-authored with Terry Pratchett. He holds a degree in mathematics from Cambridge University, a doctorate in engineering from Southampton University, and an MBA from Henley Management College. Before dedicating himself to writing full-time in 1995, Baxter taught math, physics, and IT. He resides in Prestwood, England.
