Steven F. Havill is an American author renowned for his Posadas County Mysteries series, also known as the Undersheriff Bill Gastner series. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of New Mexico and currently teaches high school biology. Havill resides in New Mexico with his wife, Kathleen, who is both a writer and an artist.
