Tess Gerritsen

She gained acclaim for her detailed autopsy scenes in medical thrillers. In 2001, she launched the successful Rizzoli & Isles series, featuring Detective Jane Rizzoli and Dr. Maura Isles, which has become a hallmark of her work.
Tess Gerritsen's works include several titles with alternate names: "Peggy Sue Got Murdered" was re-released as "Girl Missing," "The Keepsake" is known as "Keeping the Dead" in the UK, "Ice Cold" is titled "The Killing Place" in the UK, and "Thief of Hearts" was also published as "Stolen."
