5 Series

William F. Buckley, Jr. (1925-2008) was an influential American conservative commentator and author. He founded the National Review, wrote a syndicated newspaper column, and hosted "Firing Line" for nearly 1,500 episodes. Buckley also authored the Blackford Oakes mystery series and several non-fiction books. He was the father of author Christopher Buckley.

In "Who's on First," the third installment of William F. Buckley Jr.'s Blackford Oakes series, Oakes leads a mission to kidnap two exceptional Russian scientists. Their expertise could propel the United States ahead in the space race. Unbeknownst to Oakes, KGB spymaster Bolgin is closely pursuing him, adding tension and danger to the operation.
