Zen Cho is a Malaysian author acclaimed for winning the Crawford, British Fantasy, and Hugo Awards. She debuted with her novel "Sorcerer to the Crown" in 2015. Her other notable works include the short story collection "Spirits Abroad" (2014) and her second novel, "The True Queen."

Zen Cho's "The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water," released in the summer of 2020, follows Guet Imm, a votary of the Order of the Pure Moon. Her adventure begins at a coffee house and quickly escalates when she joins a diverse group of thieves. Their mission is to protect a sacred object, which initially seems straightforward. However, Guet Imm soon finds herself entangled in a far more complex situation than anticipated.
