Al Roker is an American author of mystery novels and non-fiction books, renowned for his role as a TV meteorologist and weather anchor on NBC's "Today." He began his career in 1974 and gained significant exposure after participating in an elevator race on David Letterman's show, leading to his position as the forecaster for "Weekend Today" and eventually the regular weather anchor on "Today." Roker has expanded his role to include interviews and other segments on the show. He is married to TV journalist Deborah Roberts.

Al Roker's Billy Blessing series, co-authored with Dick Lochte, features the culinary sleuth solving mysteries. In "Never Goin' Back," co-authored with Laura Morton, Billy navigates a complex case. "The Storm of the Century," co-authored with William Hogeland, intertwines a major weather event with a gripping plot. "Been There, Done That," co-authored with Deborah Roberts, offers a fresh twist on Billy's adventures. Each book showcases Billy's unique blend of culinary expertise and detective skills.
