Aliette de Bodard

Aliette de Bodard

11 Series

Aliette de Bodard is a science fiction and fantasy writer born in the US and raised in France. She writes in English, influenced by her parents' insistence on the language from an early age. Her works have gained recognition in the English-speaking world.

In Aliette de Bodard's "On a Red Station, Drifting," part of the Xuya universe, the inhabitants of Prosper Station face turmoil as war depletes their resources and draws away their brightest minds. The station struggles under the strain of accommodating refugees. Station Mistress Quyen and the Honoured Ancestress must navigate these challenges to prevent the station's collapse.
