Anton Gill, a British author, writes historical fiction and non-fiction under multiple pseudonyms including Antony Cutler, Ray Evans, and Oliver Bowden. He specializes in contemporary European history and has authored a series of Egyptian mysteries featuring Huy the Scribe, as well as novels based on the Assassin’s Creed video game. Gill has also written biographies on notable figures such as William Dampier and Peggy Guggenheim.

Anton Gill, writing as Ray Evans, penned "The Hanging Gale." He co-authored "Last Talons of the Eagle" with Gary Hyland. "Extinct" was a collaboration with Alex West. "We Built the Titanic" was later re-released as "Titanic." Gill's work on "Peggy Guggenheim" was also published under the title "Art Lover."
