Boston Teran is the pseudonym of an American author whose debut novel, "God Is A Bullet," earned the 1999 Stephen Crane Literary First Fiction Award and the 2000 CWA John Creasey Award for best first novel. His works have been published since 1999.

In "God Is A Bullet" by Boston Teran, a Satanic cult terrorizes the town of Clay, California. Bob Hightower, a police officer, faces a personal crisis when his ex-wife and her husband are murdered, and his teenage daughter is kidnapped by the cult. Forced to take a leave of absence, Hightower's investigation is hindered by a corrupt colleague involved with the cult. His breakthrough comes when he allies with a former cult slave, who aids him in infiltrating the group to rescue his daughter. This gripping narrative explores themes of faith, betrayal, and redemption.
