Charles McCarry

Charles McCarry was an American author renowned for his spy thriller novels, notably the Paul Christopher series. He drew on his experience as a CIA operative from 1958 to 1967, and also served as editor-at-large for National Geographic. His novel "The Better Angels" was adapted into the film "Wrong is Right," starring Sean Connery. McCarry passed away on February 26, 2019.

Charles McCarry co-authored "Paths of Resistance" with Isabel Allende, Marge Piercy, Robert Stone, and Gore Vidal. The book explores various narratives of resistance. Additionally, McCarry collaborated with Alexander M. Haig, Jr., on "Inner Circles: How America Changed the World." This work examines America's global influence. Both books offer insightful perspectives on pivotal themes.
