David Dalglish, a 2006 Mathematics graduate from Missouri Southern State, resides in Missouri with his family. He is known for his dedication to writing and spends his free time playing Warhammer 40k.

In "Skyborn" by David Dalglish, humanity's remnants inhabit six islands above the Endless Ocean, embroiled in a brutal aerial civil war. Elite soldiers known as the Seraphim, trained in elemental combat using ice, fire, and lightning, are central to the conflict. Twins Kale and Breanna Skyborn, whose parents died in the war, join the Seraphim academy to honor their legacy. When a nearby island invades, the twins must quickly master their skills and weaponry to protect their loved ones from annihilation.
