David Lindsay (1876-1945) was a British author known for his contributions to literary fiction, science fiction, and fantasy. Born in London to a Scottish Calvinist family, he was educated at Colfe’s School, Lewisham. After working in insurance at Lloyd’s of London and serving in World War I, Lindsay moved to Cornwall and began his full-time writing career.
