Donna Tartt is an American author known for her novels *The Secret History*, *The Little Friend*, and *The Goldfinch*. She received the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2014 for *The Goldfinch* and the WH Smith Literary Award in 2003. In 2014, she was also named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People.
