Jack Whyte, a Scottish-Canadian novelist, is renowned for his historical fiction series including the Camulod Chronicles, the Knights Templar Trilogy, and the Guardians Trilogy. His works, translated into over a dozen languages, are enjoyed globally. Born in Scotland and educated in England and France, Jack has resided in Canada since 1967 and currently lives in British Columbia.

Jack Whyte's series follows the life of Clothar the Frank in "The Lance Thrower," detailing his rise as a warrior. In "The Forest Laird," also known as "Rebel: Bravehearts Chronicles," the narrative shifts to the Scottish rebellion led by William Wallace. "Robert the Bruce," alternatively titled "The Renegade," explores the titular character's struggle for Scottish independence. "Uprising," also referred to as "The Guardian," continues the saga with the ongoing fight against English rule. Each book captures pivotal moments in the quest for freedom and leadership amidst historical turmoil.
