In Eddy Shah's "Manchester Blue," a young policeman is haunted by the discovery of a murdered child on the Moors in the early '60s, shaping his career. Decades later, as drug gangs overrun Manchester's Moss Side, he vows to restore order. Forced to adopt controversial methods, he seeks help from his estranged brother, now an American, whom he hasn't spoken to since childhood. Together, despite their mutual distrust, they tackle the city's criminal anarchy. This gripping tale is part of the Eddy Shah Retro Thrillers series.
