Gayle Roper is an American author known for her Christian-themed mystery and romance novels, including the Amhearst Mysteries series. She has received a RITA Award for Best Inspirational Romance, the Holt Medallion three times, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times Book Report. Gayle and her husband Chuck reside in Pennsylvania and have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren.
