Jane Green, an English author, is a co-founder of the chick lit genre alongside Helen Fielding. Her novels often explore themes such as cooking, class conflicts, female friendships, children, and infidelity. Prior to her writing career, Green worked as a journalist for The Daily Express, The Daily Mail, and Cosmopolitan. She currently lives in Connecticut with her husband, six children, and several pets.
