Jane Johnson, an English author, writes historical fiction, fantasy, and children's literature under her name and the pseudonyms Jude Fisher and Gabriel King (with M. John Harrison). With over thirty years in the publishing industry, she has served as a writer, bookseller, editor, and publisher. Johnson holds a first-class honours degree in English, a teaching degree, and a Master's in Old Icelandic language and literature. She and her husband Abdellatif reside in both Cornwall and the Anti-Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
