Joel Goldman is an American author known for his legal thriller and crime fiction novels, including the Lou Mason and Alex Stone series. Prior to his writing career, he practiced as a trial lawyer for 28 years. Goldman, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, began writing after a humorous suggestion to solve a workplace issue through a murder mystery novel.
