Jonathan Safran Foer is an American author known for his literary fiction, notably his novel "Everything is Illuminated," which was adapted into a film by Liev Schreiber starring Elijah Wood. He holds a philosophy degree from Princeton University (1999) and has taught fiction at Yale and serves as a writer-in-residence at New York University's graduate creative writing program.
