Marta Perry

25 Series

Marta Perry is an American author known for her Christian-themed romance novels, including the Pleasant Valley, Flanagans, and Brotherhood of the Raven series. Her writing career began with children's stories for Sunday School, eventually leading to publications in magazines. Perry, who grew up in rural Pennsylvania, often incorporates Amish themes into her work. She resides in an old farmhouse in Pennsylvania with her husband, and they spend winters in South Carolina; they have three children and six grandchildren.

Marta Perry's works feature in several compilations. "The Christmas Treasury" includes her story alongside those by Laura Marie Altom, Lynnette Kent, and Cynthia Rutledge. "Mistletoe Prayers" is co-authored with Betsy St. Amant. The "Harlequin Holiday Collection" contains her contribution with stories by Leslie Kelly, Merline Lovelace, and Debra Webb. "Dark Crossings" and "Danger in Amish Country" showcase her narratives with Patricia Davids and Karen Harper, and Diane Burke and Kit Wilkinson, respectively. "An Amish Family Christmas" also features another of her tales with Patricia Davids.
