He co-authored a Peter Pan prequel series with Dave Barry, inspired by his daughter's question about how Peter Pan met Captain Hook. Pearson was also a member of the Rock Bottom Remainders, a band that included authors such as Stephen King and Scott Turow, from 1992 to 2012.
