Whitlow holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and resides in North Carolina.

In "Jimmy" by Robert Whitlow, a boy considered "special" navigates a world where he matures into manhood. This world is also inhabited by unseen angels and fraught with danger. Despite challenges, love remains a constant force. The novel was adapted into a film in 2013, directed by Mark Freiburger.
