Lewis B. Patten

Lewis B. Patten (1915-1981) was an American author known for his western novels, often writing under the pseudonyms Lewis Ford, Joseph Wayne, and Lee Leighton. He frequently collaborated with Wayne D. Overholser under the latter two names. Born in Denver, Colorado, Patten was educated at the University of Denver and served in the U.S. Navy.
