Robin Hobb, the pseudonym of American novelist Margaret Astrid Lindholm Ogden, is renowned for her fantasy series, The Realm of the Elderlings. Under her other pseudonym, Megan Lindholm, she wrote from 1983 to 1992. Her work primarily spans fantasy, with some contributions to science fiction.

Under the pen name Megan Lindholm, Robin Hobb authored several notable works. The Ki and Vandien series follows the adventures of its titular characters. The Tillu and Kerlew series explores the bond between a healer and her son. Standalone novels include "Wizard of the Pigeons," a tale of urban magic; "Cloven Hooves," which delves into fantasy; "Alien Earth," a science fiction narrative; and "The Gypsy," a story of wandering and discovery. Each work showcases Hobb's versatility across genres.
