Stieg Larsson (1954-2004) was a Swedish author renowned for his Millennium series, notably "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." He also edited periodicals and authored non-fiction books in Swedish. Larsson dedicated his life to researching right-wing extremism.

Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy follows journalist Mikael Blomkvist and hacker Lisbeth Salander as they unravel complex mysteries. In "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," they investigate a decades-old disappearance, uncovering a web of corruption and violence. "The Girl Who Played with Fire" delves into Salander's past, revealing her traumatic experiences and a conspiracy against her. The trilogy concludes with "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest," where Salander fights to clear her name and expose the truth about her guardianship. Denise Mina adapted the series into graphic novels, preserving Larsson's gripping narrative.
