Tony Parsons is a British author known for his contemporary and crime fiction novels, as well as non-fiction books, including the Max Wolfe series. He began his career as a music journalist, writing about punk music for NME and later contributing to The Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mirror. Parsons has also made television appearances on BBC Two's The Late Show and Newsnight Review.

Tony Parsons' "The Murderbag," also known as "The Murder Man," follows Detective Max Wolfe as he investigates a series of brutal murders in London. Wolfe's relentless pursuit of the killer leads him into the dark underbelly of the city. Simultaneously, Parsons co-authored "The Boy Looked at Johnny" with Julie Burchill, exploring the punk rock scene and its impact on youth culture.
