William Nicholson

William Nicholson is an English novelist, screenwriter, and playwright, best known for his play Shadowlands. The play won the BAFTA Best Television Drama award, was named Evening Standard Best Play of 1990, and earned a Tony Award on Broadway. Nicholson's screenplay adaptation of Shadowlands for the film directed by Richard Attenborough earned him an Oscar nomination.

In "Seeker," the first book of the Noble Warriors series by William Nicholson, a sixteen-year-old boy named Seeker embarks on a quest to find his brother, who has been exiled from the Nomana order of warrior monks after a public humiliation.
