Alex George, an English author, studied law at Oxford University and worked as a corporate lawyer in London and Paris for eight years. After relocating to the U.S., he opened Skylark Bookshop and founded The Unbound Book Festival in Columbia, Missouri. In addition to his literary endeavors, he continues to practice law and is married to writer, professor, and critic Alexandra Socarides; they reside in Columbia with their four children.
