Catherine Asaro

Catherine Asaro is an American author renowned for her Saga of the Skolian Empire and Lost Continent series, spanning science fiction and romantic fantasy genres. She holds a Ph.D. in chemical physics and an M.A. in physics from Harvard University, and a B.S. in chemistry from UCLA with highest honors. In addition to her writing, Asaro teaches math, physics, and chemistry, and is the daughter of Frank Asaro, co-developer of the asteroid impact theory for dinosaur extinction.

Catherine Asaro's "The City of Cries" is featured in the anthology "Aurora in Four Voices." "Lightning Strike" expands on the first half of her novel "Catch the Lightning." Additionally, "Charmed Destinies" includes Asaro's work alongside stories by Mercedes Lackey and Rachel Lee. These collections showcase Asaro's engaging storytelling and diverse narrative styles.
