Catherine Asaro
11 SeriesCatherine Asaro is an American author renowned for her Saga of the Skolian Empire and Lost Continent series, spanning science fiction and romantic fantasy genres. She holds a Ph.D. in chemical physics and an M.A. in physics from Harvard University, and a B.S. in chemistry from UCLA with highest honors. In addition to her writing, Asaro teaches math, physics, and chemistry, and is the daughter of Frank Asaro, co-developer of the asteroid impact theory for dinosaur extinction.
