China Miéville is an acclaimed English author known for his works in fantasy, steampunk, and New Weird fiction, as well as non-fiction. He has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Arthur C. Clarke, British Fantasy, Locus, Hugo, Kitschies, and World Fantasy awards. Miéville holds a B.A. in social anthropology and a Ph.D. in international relations, and he aims to write a novel in every genre.
