Emma Lathen is the pen name of Mary Jane Latsis and Martha Henissart, American authors known for their mystery novels. They created the John Putnam Thatcher series as Emma Lathen and the Ben Safford series as R.B. Dominic. Both authors were businesswomen who met as graduate students at Harvard. Latsis passed away in 1997.
