3 Series

Gordon Ferris, a Scottish author, specializes in historical crime fiction and thrillers, notably the Douglas Brodie series. Before his writing career, he worked as a computer programmer, an executive for the UK Ministry of Defence, and a consultancy partner at Price Waterhouse’s banking division. Ferris chose to set his first six novels in post-war Britain, a less explored era in literature.

In "Truth Dare Kill" by Gordon Ferris, ex-SOE agent Danny McRae struggles with amnesia and blackouts as he transitions to a private investigator. Hired by an upper-class client accused of homicide, Danny's condition complicates his work. As a killer stalks London's red light district, the case begins to trigger Danny's buried memories. He fears what these recollections might reveal about his past. This gripping narrative intertwines personal recovery with a dangerous investigation.
