Laura Caldwell (1967-2020) was an American author known for her works in chick lit, mystery, and thriller genres. Prior to her writing career, she practiced as a civil trial lawyer, later incorporating her legal experience into her novels featuring the character Izzy McNeil. Caldwell also contributed as a freelance magazine writer.
