Natasha Pulley
3 SeriesNatasha Pulley, an English author of historical fiction, studied English Literature at Oxford and earned an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. She lived in Tokyo for a year and a half on a Daiwa Anglo Japanese Foundation scholarship, researching her debut novel, The Watchmaker of Filigree Street. In 2016, she conducted research in Peru for her novel The Bedlam Stacks. Pulley resides in Bath, Somerset, England.
In 1883 London, Thaniel Steepleton discovers a mysterious gold pocket watch in his flat, which later saves his life during a blast at Scotland Yard. Intrigued, he seeks out the watch's creator, Keita Mori, a seemingly harmless yet enigmatic Japanese immigrant.
